


Probably one of the most well known friesians, Frederick the Great has been titled "The most photogenic friesian." It is not hard to see why. Besides his long locks and beautiful conformation, Frederick is a master dressage horse and breeding stallion. In 2007, Frederick earned the recognition of Dressage Grand Champion at the famous Woodside Expo in California. A year later he won Supreme Stallion in hand and halter. Wobke is another world-famous friesian stallion with enormous presence. Wobke competes in M1 level dressage and is trained in carriage, showing, and performance as well. Wobke is known for producing premium offspring and has great influence on his foals in both conformation and performance. He is a 1st premium stallion. He stands about 16hh in height and is a beautiful flawless black. Wobke is a perfect image of a friesian.

The Forest Boyz, Meike, Menno, and Saphire, are three friesian stallions located on the Northern California coast. The small trio is known for their beautiful photographs and videos. Meike and Menno are half-brothers and havebeen raised together. Saphire, however, belongs to a separate owner and has presently been staying with the forest boyz due to inadequate room at his previous stables. According to their owner, Laura Zugzda, "They are the best of friends and good medicine to all that know them. They never fail to entertain."
